Same Soul, Many Bodies

“The earth life is a gift. It is a school to learn how love manifests in the physical dimensions where bodies and emotions exist.” I read this in Same Soul, ManyBodies by Dr Brian Weiss.

Only a few believe in the afterlife. If taken into consideration that our soul is a form of energy, a soul can neither be created nor be destroyed but can be divided. This statement might seem absurd as how can a soul be divided? But sometimes, we meet people within whom we find our own reflection.

Same Soul, Many Bodies is based on the after works of Dr Brian Weiss. After that incident with Catherine during therapy in that first book Many Lives, Many Masters, the quest to dive into this subject lead to this. In this book, you will witness different therapeutic sessions. Here, the sessions deal in empathy, compassion, love, healing etc. These virtues have been offered a detailed explanation of how they constitute a healthy life, i.e., they are explained beyond the layman’s knowledge.

Since some revelations might seem irrational, Dr Brian has agreed to accept that these facts can’t be considered factual and are yet to be proved scientifically. But one thing that those revelations signify is the quest for one. Remember what we read in the first book, ‘we all seem to be going to the same place ultimately, albeit at different speeds. No one is greater than another.’ The quest for one signifies the existence of supreme beings. There are only a few who seem to empathise, and there are few who sympathise with others. The one who can empathise can inspire others, and these humans are a step ahead of others in life. The point is to connect spiritually.

This book was better than the first one because it didn’t require extra details to move ahead in the book. The events that are rational or irrational to the human brain have been dealt with delicately. The explanations are vivid and relate to daily life experiences. This book might inspire you to study your emotions, and how to let yourself grow from your past. The writing style keeps you engaged, and you are requested to try this book with an open mind. Sometimes stories don’t have to make sense to you because the lessons they teach are inspiring, and this is one such book.

Agnibaan Guardians Of The Fire Chamber

Imagine coming across the need to save this humankind from the army of evils alone because none will have faith in your reasons. The novel Agnibaan Guardians of The Fire Chamber by S. Venkatesh is one such thriller revolving around the secrets of 535CE. Ok! I agree this is a work of fiction.

The story begins with the acolytes of the Dark Order of Apep digging for a secret of foremost value hiding beneath the Great pyramids of Giza, Egypt, in 535CE. They have been defeated by the Lightning Warrior, Aphotep, who is supposed to be the successor of the guardians. The guardians- Qurators have been protecting the secret inside the walls of the Fire Chamber for centuries, but now human greed is acquainted with this secret. Aphotep carries that secret to The Oracle of Tanis, the spiritual guide for the guardians, to know about its future. The Oracle of Tanis speaks

The Ma’at has been disturbed
An evil mist shall shroud the skies,
Empires will fall, Darkness will prevail,
Hell’s fury shall be unleashed.”

The ancient Egyptians called the order or the balance of nature, The Ma’at. The question is will Aphotep be able to relocate the secret?

The story progresses to the modern world. Dhruv, who is a part of the secret command unit named Shauryas, had been declared unfit mentally for the job. The director of Shauryas reports directly to the Chief of the Indian army. The USA presidential candidate is murdered on his arrival to India via advanced drone technology, and the Indian army convoy is decimated in Arunachal Pradesh, and everyone believes that China attacked with impunity. Many events unfold to gather the plot. In a high profile convention at Delhi, Dhruv is suspicious about a person whose presence seems peculiar, and he prefers to follow him. The convention spoke about the drastic climate change in 535CE. Soon a bomb blast bombards the surroundings of that centre. Following that person, Dhruv enters Buddha Jayanti Park, which is famous for illicit activities at the night. A lady and a man meet someone who possesses something which could change the future of the world, but bullets take over that meeting. Dhruv succeeds in saving the lady, but wouldn't those goons follow them? What led these innocent humans to visit this isolated place at this hour? Was that a connection to the secrets of 535CE?

The secret guarded by the guardians is the Fire Arrow, known as Agnibaan(India) or Minew Satey(Egypt). Agnibaan is a kind of superconductor which, unlike others, exists at room temperature i.e. High-Temperature Superconductor at room temperature. According to Professor Mhatre, an expert, 'he who controls the HTS will control the world.' But how does this Fire Arrow unite the civilizations of Egypt and India? And how will Dhruv be able to locate it?

The story accentuates the cultural similarities of ancient Egypt and India. The author discusses the drastic climate change, if ignored, will cost this humankind with irremediable effects. The readers are enthralled by the different plots working parallel to lead the story to the climax. This book is a work of excellent research with every detail benefitting the plot. All the intimidating topics- political, mythological, historical, and advanced technology contribute to the plot. The author’s imagination takes the readers with angst and excitement. It is definitely a page-turner. I did find a few amateur sentence formatting errors that could have been avoided, but they existed in one or two chapters in the beginning. Those errors seem to be an amateur style, a way to exhilarate readers and fascinate their journey. The writing style except for those errors is intriguing. I wouldn’t be surprised if some proficient directors put their hands on this masterpiece. In the words of The Oracle of Tanis,

‘Empires will fall, Darkness will prevail,
Hell’s fury shall be unleashed.’
